A PRACTICAL QR GUIDE

QR codes for Weddings

Keep travel, RSVP and schedule details together for your guests. Invitations often go out before every detail is final, so choose a page you can maintain.

Dynamic: Update transport or timing information after invitations are printed.

What to put behind the code

A guest information site with RSVP deadline, venue directions and contact details.

Print for the place it will live

Starting size: 2.5 × 2.5 cm. This is a starting point, not a scanning guarantee. Allow a close scan from a handheld invitation.

Test textured stock; keep foil, metallic ink and decorative borders outside the quiet zone. Keep the four-module quiet zone intact and use dark modules on a light background. Read the print-size guide.

Where to place it

  • Invitation details card
  • Welcome sign
  • Table schedule card

Mistakes to avoid

  • Encoding private guest data in a public code
  • Using pale ink on cream paper
  • Leaving RSVP form permissions restricted

Before committing to a print run

Print a proof on the final material. Scan it with more than one phone, from the normal viewing position. Check the opened destination while signed out and confirm it leads to the intended page or action. A readable fallback address or contact detail helps visitors who cannot scan.
