A PRACTICAL QR GUIDE

QR codes for Trade Show Booths

Give visitors one focused follow-up after a busy conversation. A booking page or concise product brief is easier to act on than a full company homepage.

Dynamic: Change the post-event follow-up page after the exhibition.

What to put behind the code

A mobile meeting booking or product brief page with clear consent wording.

Print for the place it will live

Starting size: 10 × 10 cm. This is a starting point, not a scanning guarantee. Size for the actual booth viewing distance and check crowd obstruction.

Use rigid matte signage with a separate close-up version on takeaway cards. Keep the four-module quiet zone intact and use dark modules on a light background. Read the print-size guide.

Where to place it

  • Front information counter
  • Product demo station
  • Takeaway one-pager

Mistakes to avoid

  • Collecting leads without explaining use
  • Placing the only code high above heads
  • Using a tiny code in a large backdrop

Before committing to a print run

Print a proof on the final material. Scan it with more than one phone, from the normal viewing position. Check the opened destination while signed out and confirm it leads to the intended page or action. A readable fallback address or contact detail helps visitors who cannot scan.

Questions about trade show booths

Do scans identify leads?
No. Scan counts do not identify people. A visitor must explicitly submit your form to share contact details.
What should I test before printing?
Scan the final trade show booths artwork on more than one phone. Check the destination or imported details, the real viewing distance and the final printed surface.
